Abstract

Association rule mining is a technique in data mining which is used to mine different association rules from the given database. Association rules are if/then statements that help uncover relationships between seemingly unrelated data in a relational database or other information repository. In this paper, we mention the different approaches for mining association rules from relational databases and their usage in different areas.
