Abstract

The notion of maximisor of a subset of an Almost Distributive Lattice (ADL) is introduced and certain properties of these are dis- cussed analogous to those of annihilators. Mainly, Almost Boolean algebras (ABA's) are characterized interms of their annihilators and maximisors.
